Movie Review: Big Daddy (1999)

Today I watched Big Daddy, with Adam Sandler. Like all of his movies, it was full of raunchy, obnoxious humor that was mostly unfunny, but still had its moments. Sandler did a decent job playing an immature dad, better than most of his parts. While the movie tried to be sweet, the attempt was squandered because it was so unsure of itself. You might actually be touched, but then Sandler would say something that completely ruined the moment. It might be funny to some, but personally it bothered me. This was probably my favorite Adam Sandler movie, but then again that's not saying much. At least it was better than The Waterboy.
Final Grade: 6.5/10
