Most of what made Zoolander funny was its cast. It stars Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Will Ferrell as its main characters. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson were very entertaining as clueless models, but Will Ferrell wasn't very exciting. The plot is all over the place, so I will only say that there is brainwashing, modeling, and an assassination plot involved. Zoolander is deliberately silly, but it is also occasionally funny, which is hard to find in those types of movies. But there were as many (or more) misses as there were hits. Though it is flawed, I thought that it was pretty good overall, although it probably only appeals to a certain audience.
